Term Contract – 9 weeks (June to August) 35 hours/week Location Regina, SK Summary This funded position through Service Canada’s Canada Summer Jobs Program, will afford youth between the ages of 15 to 30 year of age the opportunity to assist CNIB staff in service delivery and office support. Essential Duties Entail (but Not Limited To) Assist with planning and implementation of Foundation Programs and participant outreach General office duties as assigned Reception CNIB Store Assists consumers to view/select assistive products and aids Process sales and returns Respond to customers inquires Data-entry of client information Requirements Eligibility Requirements is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment; is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations. International students are not eligible. Experience & Training Experience working in an office setting. Experience in working with volunteers and individuals with disabilities. Experience with summer camps or organizing recreational activities with children. Customer service experience preferred. Excellent telephone manners and skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office applications and databases Valid Driver’s License preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Attended full time University/College or Senior high school in the past academic year and intend to return to school full time in the following year preferably in health or business studies.
