The Brick is searching for a Graphic Designer (Digital/Print) who has the drive for success and capabilities to be a leader for others.Reporting to the Manager, Creative Services, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing flyers for The Brick Group.We are looking for an individual who has experience with digital flyers and optimizing print flyers for the web by producing great user experience from the customer online, but also ensuring the integrity of our flyers across all company banners are cohesive within brand guidelines.Design and produce digital flyers and print flyers;Has a good understanding of the user experience of digital flyers;Ensure the design of all marketing materials are produced on a timely basis and within the limits of The Brick brand guidelines;Develop and research new concepts for digital flyers;Production of advertising print materials as required;Prepare proofs for approval;Work with internal departments and other companies under The Brick Group to produce marketing material.Post-secondary education in Graphic Design or a related field;Minimum 2 years experience in the design and production of digital and print media;Advanced working knowledge of the following programs: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator;Working knowledge of a Mac based environment;Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service attitude;Ability to effectively organize work responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent project changes.Flexible health and dental plans;Life and disability plans;A compassionate sick leave policy;Competitive pay;Career progression program;Access to personal development training through ‘The Brick University';Employee discounts & personal paid days off;Fitness facility open 7 days a week;Recognition, incentives, prizes and giveaways!
