This role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the finance department at our Oakville head office.


+ A/P Support: Data entry of invoice and purchase order information; Reconciling vendor statements; Validating invoices for accuracy and following up with appropriate managers regarding missing documentation; Maintaining accounts payable e-mail and responding to inquiries

+ A/R Support: Making collections calls to clients with outstanding invoices, stratify collection activities to maximize cash receipt; Sending out monthly statements of accounts; Contacting customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reason for non-payment, verify the issue and ask the appropriate parties to resolve the issue; Corresponding with customers and respond to inquiries

+ General office duties: such as photocopying invoices, opening and distributing mail, filing, faxing, other administrative duties as required


+ Post-Secondary Education in Accounting/Finance or related in progress

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, preferably Excel and Word

+ Strong organization skills and attention to detail

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

+ Ability to multitask in a busy office environment

+ Willingness to take on other duties as needed
