Corporate Sponsorship & Social Responsibility Senior Manager



We?re looking for a self-motivated individual with strategic sponsorship and corporate social responsibility expertise who is driven to succeed. In this role, your overall objective will be to leverage sponsorships to help build our brand and deliver positive impact for our business, partners and communities. Your strong understanding of the value of relationships and collaboration will help you work cross-functionally to drive results. You will build and execute a focused sponsorship strategy along with a corporate social responsibility strategy, unifying it to our brand purpose. A solid understanding of how to demonstrate ROI through measurement and optimization will be critical in this role. You will be part of the Corporate Communications team, and as a collaborative partner, you?ll have the opportunity to work with many internal business units, from Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Innovation, and Diversity & Inclusion committees.



You?re great at?





+ Building and executing a corporate sponsorship strategy that includes integrated, cross-functional sponsorships, memberships, events and in-kind/community partners



+ Working in close alignment with internal stakeholders (Commercial and Innovation Partnerships team) to capitalize on existing and new business partnerships to activate integrated sponsorship programming



+ Manage sponsorship decision criteria, guidelines and processes to ensure a smooth execution



+ Building and executing a corporate social responsibility strategy that aligns to brand purpose and corporate strategic focus, and drives employee engagement



+ Measuring and optimizing sponsorships on an annual basis while proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities that deepen stakeholder relationships, build the brand and future proof the business



+ Overseeing contract negotiations with sponsors to get the most ROI for Interac, and working with Legal teams



+ Relationship management; understanding partner/sponsor needs and objectives and ensuring value for both



+ Internal stakeholder management; working collaboratively to manage stakeholder needs, securing alignment and engaging them around sponsorship goals



+ Spearheading cross-functional teams and developing go-to-market strategies, i.e. Comms/PR, Marketing/Brand, Product, Innovation, Human Resources, Client Management, including employee, executive and customer engagement, targeted or large event execution or brand activation, thought leadership and content opportunity, etc.



+ Working with external agencies, brand ambassadors, vendors and venues ? building a team to execute and deliver, while rolling up your sleeves and getting into the mix



+ Ensuring KPI success measures are pre-determined in order to evaluate success and ROI of sponsorship properties



+ Managing, monitoring and reporting on sponsorship budget



+ Noticing things that others won?t ? it?s all in the details!





Who are you?





+ You must have a college/university degree, with additional training in Marketing or Communications



+ You have 7- 10 years of work experience. This could be a combination of work experience in a sponsorship, marketing or PR agency, and also in a corporate / financial / tech environment where you were responsible for integrated marketing communications campaigns, sponsorship, partnership or community relations / corporate social responsibility



+ You have experience in contracts, business cases, stakeholder management, project management as it relates to sponsorships or partnerships



+ You?re able to work autonomously and take charge, while understanding how to engage and mobilize internal stakeholders.



+ You are a strong negotiator



+ You are obsessed with results



+ You?re a creative thinker, able to generate new ideas



+ You?re able to demonstrate critical thinking abilities



+ You have strong attention to detail



+ You can work under pressure in a high-volume environment on multiple tasks simultaneously.



+ You have strong communication skills (written & verbal). You are proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.



+ You can have a flexible schedule when sponsorship-related events are being executed; may sometimes include weekends or early/late hours.



+ You have working knowledge of the Canadian payments and/or banking system, and/or have agency experience
