YOUR CHALLENGE Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling all accounting and financial activities of the city of Campbellton, in accordance with accepted accounting principles, regulations, policies and laws in force. As an expert, you will play an advisory role with the general management, the municipal council, and all municipal services on budgetary issues and the management of financial resources. In collaboration with the General Management, you develop and coordinate the annual budget of nearly $14million for an organization hiring more than 80 employees. Requirements YOUR SKILLS Possess a bachelors degree in business administration, accounting or finance; Candidate or Member in good standing of the Chartered Professional Accountants Canada Organization (CPA); Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a related field, including at least three (3) years in an employee management position; Master the various offices (Microsoft Office Suite) and financial software; Have the skills to lead and mobilize team and solve problems; Have a spirit of analysis, synthesis, judgment and initiative; Be organized, structured and able to multitask within a prescribed deadline; React positively to change; Ability to maintain excellent relationships; Master the French and English language both orally and in writing; Any other relevant experience and training could be considered Benefits OUR OFFER To contribute to the development of a municipality and its citizens; Add your talent to an agile and dynamic work team; Become a trusted advisor and share your knowledge; Receive competitive compensation with a stimulating work-life oriented work environment with an excellent benefits program.
