GFL Environmental is looking for a Technical Trainer to join our growing team out of our Vaughan Corporate Office As a Technical Trainer, you are an enterprise software subject matter expert who thrives on Business Process Automation and can empathize with technology users. You are someone with industry experience in ERP/CRM Solutions and Training large groups of people independently across multiple solution, from users in the field to senior executives. You will play the vital role of translator and facilitator between Business, IT and End-Users through role-based and task-based learning methodology. You will be part of a small squad whose sole mission is, to help GFL employees learn and understand ‘how to use’ various IT Solutions productively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Conduct instructor led, in-person and/or remote webinars to on-board users onto new/updated Enterprise Software Solutions (ERP/CRM/Financial) Lead knowledge transfer sessions and conduct detailed solution walkthroughs with application support owners to map business processes and build training curriculum/agenda Work closely with the Project management team and System Application Owners to identify target user training lists, and then develop a detailed training schedule by location, time zone, job role and management tier Draft clear/concise training broadcast email communications, generate training registration/attendance reports for management using online webinar solution Participate in weekly IT Projects meetings, identify technical training needs of users across one or more applications, and manage weekly/monthly training calendar for various projects Deliver end-user training as well as train-the-trainer sessions for a top-down global training projects Work closely with other trainers and instructional designers in the team to help build quality micro learning training content e.g.: Presentations, eLearning portals, Job Aids, Info graphics etc. Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent College Degree or Industry Software Certification 8-10 years of experience in supporting, administering, or training on Enterprise Software solutions 5 years of experience in a customer/user facing role, as a technical trainer, technical support manager or related role Formal Certification in Adult Learning is considered an asset Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience working with one or more of the following Solutions: Microsoft CRM, SAP, [Register to View]
Trux, Tower, AMCS, TMT/TMW, M5, VRMS, Custom Developed Enterprise Solutions, Construction Management Solutions, Billing and Invoice Systems, Enterprise Mobility (MDM/EMM), Messaging (Email, Chat, Audio, Video, SMS, MMS), Reporting/Data Warehouse (Cognos/TM1), and Content Collaboration (O365, Citrix FileShare) Experience with Technology/Project Management Reference Models (e.g.: ITIL, PMI, Agile Scrum) Experience or knowledge of field services, construction, and waste management verticals preferred Mastery of PPT, Excel, and Visio or other process mapping tools Customer service oriented with strong planning and organizing skills Rigor in the quality of deliverables and in the follow-up of the projects entrusted Ability to learn environments and systems to be trained on quickly Good problem-solving skills, be dynamic and manage training projects independently Ability to summarize in a clear and concise manner, knowing how to adapt the level of language (verbal and written) and the content of the message according to the type of business or technical worker Demonstrate skills to work with people from different backgrounds, locally or remotely We thank you for your interest.
