You are the right fit if you have prior experience managing partners, especially hyperscalers like Microsoft, Google and Amazon, or have worked with the hyperscalers and fully understand their structures and the alignment needed across their organisations in order to push for joint co-sell wins. Specific knowledge and understanding of Microsoft’s Global Partner Solutions (GPS) and Google’s Cloud Partner Advantage, as well as Microsoft’s Azure Bot Framework and Google’s Dialogflow, will be a clear advantage. The successful candidate must be able to show a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales revenue quotas via partners. Wysdom is committed to slowing climate change by removing our team's personal commute so has become a fully remote company and this position can be located anywhere in Canada.

As Partner Sales Director, you will:

  • Be Wysdom’s focal point of contact with the partners, at every stage of the engagement lifecycle from strategy development, pre-sales, sales, deployment/implementation to support or other post-sales activities.
  • Develop a Partner Engagement Plan for each partner, with the objective to generate new logo wins or upsells to existing Wysdom’s customers.
  • Identify strong potential prospects / targets for each partner, with rationale behind the choice of specific partner.
  • Work collaboratively across all teams within Wysdom in order to achieve set objectives.
  • Manage the sales process from pillar to post, including technical and commercial proposals, pipeline management, sales forecasting, and contractual documentation.
  • Maintain well organized up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports in our HubSpot CRM, or other systems as defined by Wysdom.
  • Assess and analyze a prospect's current procurement processes and requirements, using the BANT methodology.
  • Plan partners’ programs from start to completion, involving deadlines, milestones and processes.
  • Develop and analyze monitoring and evaluation data and track key performance indicators as a basis for measuring performance.
  • Meet personal and assigned targets and work towards Wysdom’s sales goals and profitability.
  • Create reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Proficient in the use of social media tools.
What does the ideal candidate look like?
  • Bachelor degree or above in an Engineering, Computer Science or Business field
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a relevant sales / business / partner program management role
  • Good working knowledge of hyperscalers like Microsoft, Google and Amazon
  • Be performance-driven with a consistent track record of achieving and exceeding personal and team goals
  • Highly adaptable, strong collaborator, but yet with analytical skills and a go-getter attitude
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Interest and ability to stay abreast of the latest digital industry trends platforms and technology, especially in the field of Conversational AI
  • Additional languages, especially French is a plus
