Behavioural Interventionist plus / Educator for Special Needs Child (2531375952)

Unique opportunity for an inspired educator with behavioural training who prioritizes great rapport and play. You will share your time between two amazing home-based programs designed and directed by Jonathan Alderson, of the IMTI approach, the only truly multi-treatment program in the world. Blending behavioural strategies with play-based as well as language, socialization, physical therapy strategies and more.

Training is provided but a minimum of 2 years in-field experience is required. This is a great opportunity for professional development as you receive 1:1 training from Jonathan Alderson, Ed. This position is for 20 - 25 hours per week with an option for weekend sessions as well, plus 6 hours of paid biweekly team training meetings.

One 3-year old boy and one -year old boy with autism live in central north and the east end of Toronto. Transportation is required to travel between the families.

Hourly rate is between $25 – $50 cash, based on experience and a one year commitment. Must be playful, animated and engaging and open to training through feedback. Must have good written and verbal English communication skills.
