ROLE SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist for the Safehaven Project for Community Living (Safehaven) is accountable for supporting the HR Partners in full-cycle recruitment for assigned business units including onboarding, new hire orientation, and training and development. As a Recruitment Specialist, you have thorough knowledge of HR best practices and have innovative ideas.


Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
  • Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and universities boards
  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Source candidates by using databases and social media
  • Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters
  • Conduct phone, virtual, or in-person interviews
  • Conduct Full-Cycle recruitment, including up to the conclusion of employment
  • Complete reference checks
  • Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions
  • Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
  • Conduct New Hire orientations and prepare onboarding materials for new hires
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
  • Work collaboratively with team with other HR initiatives

· Stay up-to-date with current recruiting method


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources or related field of study or a combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources leading high volume, and full cycle recruitment required.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)
