Further, at Pride Group Logistics we leverage technology in our trucks and in our back office, our goal is to go paperless by end of 2021.

Pride Group Logistics has a new opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our team at our location in Milton, ON. This is a full-time position with steady year-round work. Training will be provided to the selected candidate, but it is expected that the chose candidate have at least 2-years of transportation experience.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide and support service requirements of all assigned clients within a region
  • Receive incoming telephone calls from customers, administrative staff and drivers
  • Trace customers shipments and provide timely updates as required
  • Assist, investigate and correct customer issues and order delays with appropriate solutions/alternatives and follow-up
  • Proactively communicate with dispatchers to avoid undesirable outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers
  • Facilitate pickup and delivery for every customer shipment
  • Input all relevant data for each freight movement into the computer system (TMS)
  • Various administrative duties as assigned by operations

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the transportation industry
  • High school diploma or GED or experience working in a customer service role
  • Skilled at providing exceptional service to customers over the phone or e-mail
  • Energetic and positive nature
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite


Salary: $35,000-$40,000/year
