Working hand-in-hand with our equally fantastic Marketing and Operations team, you, our new Carrier Relations Manager, will be the ‘go-to person’ for our carrier partners. You see every transaction as an opportunity to nurture the relationship between our partners and sales team. Together, we’ll work towards enabling our carrier partners to leverage Beanfield technology so they can optimize their day-to-day work. We’re looking for a meticulous, results-driven individual that is successful at managing accounts through superior communication skills. You will position yourself as a trusted advisor and build value-added relationships as you drive processes and deliver services. If you’ve been nodding your head while reading- take a look at some of the responsibilities and other details of the role RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director and the Account Executives; Administer and maintain orders: process, prepare Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs); Provide first escalation level support with carriers for issues related to business requirements; Assist the acquisition of network elements with carrier partners; Responsible for service level agreement (SLA) management and collaboration with service assurance to ensure carriers deliver on their commitment; Interdepartmental coordination and escalation point between Sales, Marketing and Operations; Establish active communication and engagement with Account Executives to ensure that orders are processed promptly; Input orders and ensure they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensure all orders are accurate and delivered on time; Handle urgent calls, emails, and messages when Account Executives are unavailable, and answer customer queries; Attend sales training meetings and develop an understanding of Beanfield’s services and products; Contribute to overall customer satisfaction by promptly answering emails and phone calls; All other duties as assigned by the Director of Wholesale & Channel. EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE: High school diploma with a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or related field; Experience with JIRA, CRM, and other applications asset; 2-3 years of experience in sales to Carriers, VARs and Resellers preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of Layer 1 and 2 WAN Services, Internet; Understanding of the Global and National Telecom Ecosystems; Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities; Excellent organizational and time management skills in order to multitask/prioritize and work under tight timelines; Effective written, verbal and listening skills; Attention to detail; Ability to work and act independently using good judgement when assessing difficult situations; Strong negotiation and relationship building abilities; Team player with strong interpersonal skills and professional mannerisms.
